The FutureWEDGE^® 3100 is an all-electric crash-tested vehicle barrier available in single or dual buttress design, featuring a 12" foundation. Certified to protect at the ASTM M40 P1 (K8) certification levels. Independently crash tested by authorized third parties, it stops a medium-sized truck traveling at 40mph within 3.3 ft.

All-Electric Operation

The FutureWEDGE^® 3100 features an all-electric drive with no hydraulic or hazardous ﬂuids, making it an environmentally preferable choice. Common breakdowns and worn components associated with traditional hydraulic systems are drastically reduced. The electro-mechanical drive delivers smooth, quiet, and trouble-free operation and reduces maintenance significantly. The FutureWEDGE^® 3100 comes standard with an integrated single or dual buttress featuring LED Status Indicator Lights. Integrated Gate Arms can be added.

The FutureWEDGE^® 3100 utilizes sophisticated PLC and VFD drives for customized operation and communication. The PLC easily integrates the barrier with other perimeter security systems such as speed detection, access controls, traffic loops, automatic doors, CCTV, gates, and other intrusion detection devices.

Low Cost Installation

The FutureWEDGE^® 3100 features a shallow foundation (12”) designed for minimal excavation while still providing maximum security. The vehicle barrier is self-contained and arrives fully assembled ready to be placed in the foundation to be finished with rebar and poured concrete. Electrical interconnects can be stubbed up or surface-mounted to reduce excavation costs.
