Global Marketing Director

The key purpose for this role is to implement a global marketing strategy for the Guardiar brand as well as creating the solutions brand and marketing the product brands within the portfolio. Develop and implement brand management initiatives for all business units globally .The core focus of this position is to grow the total solution brand and the brands within the portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Support and implement marketing and brand strategy, goals & objectives in line with global marketing strategy and the company’s growth targets.
  • Develop and implement a digital marketing, social media and communication program that promotes the brands internally and externally
  • Support maintain and expand company profile, brand awareness and solutions value offering
    • Support marketing strategy per vertical market
    • Implement Advertising and PR activities
    • Conduct primary and secondary market research to identify market opportunities
    • Convert value proposition into usable and practical marketing plans, activities, strategies and material
  • Develop relationship with Key Stake holders & RTM Channels
    • Take the lead on Internal/external initiative and  events
      • Social media, Industry committees, trade events and exhibitions,
    • Develop ongoing liaison with key opinion leaders, lobbyists, influencers to ensure that significant developments are identified and monitored
    • Competitor analysis
    • Customer analytics
  • Develop, coordinate and manage all business development supporting tools
    • Communicate and manage the brand to internal customers 
    • Specific material and tools for vertical markets as well as for the regional markets
  • Develop and manage regional marketing plan and brand strategy

Skills and experience

  • Degree in marketing or business, or a professional marketing qualification
  • Clear understanding & proven track record of “solution selling” / “turn key” marketing approach & implementation
  • Proven experience in digital marketing including innovative use of social media
  • Proven track record of effective marketing strategy implementation, brand management within an organizational change environment
  • Experience in co-ordinating and driving activities across divisions to achieve common goals
  • Clear track record of above experience within a B2B environment
  • 3-5 years relevant experience of above-mentioned 
  • Leadership and motivational skills
  • Creativity and great attention to detail
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Project management skills for marketing related matters
  • Analytical thinking
